As of Sunday, March 21, we are delighted to welcome worshippers back to the St. John’s nave for worship services. Attendance will be capped to allow for safe, socially distanced seating, and sign-up is required. The online sign-up for each Sunday service will be available starting the Thursday prior, and the online sign-up for Holy Week and Easter services will be available starting on Monday, March 29. Links to the online sign-ups will be shared in our e-newsletters; click here to sign up to receive them.

For everyone’s safety, the following guidelines are in place:

  • Wear a mask over your mouth and nose at all times. Masks are required regardless of vaccine status. We have disposable masks should you need one.
  • Practice social distancing with members of other households. Observe signs and the directions of vergers and ushers about where to sit. Greet one another from a distance with a nod, wave, peace sign, etc.
  • If you might need to get up during the service, please sit on the right side of the nave. The first-floor restrooms are available should you need them. Please refrain from going into other areas of the building.
  • Children must stay with their accompanying adult(s).
  • Entry is through the red doors only, so park accordingly.
  • Exit is through the red doors or the side door into the Cloister Garden portico, as directed by a verger or usher.
  • For now, there will be no receiving of bread and wine, congregational singing, or healing prayers offered. We will resume those practices as soon and as safely as possible.
  • We will not be passing the plate during the Offertory. You may leave your donation in the wooden offering box. We can also receive donations through the mail or online via our web site. Thank you!
