The St. John’s Vestry
The vestry is the governing body of the parish and is composed of the clergy, two wardens, two co-treasurers and 9 to 12 members who serve as representatives of the parish. The vestry meets monthly from August to May; meetings are open to all interested parishioners except for occasional executive sessions involving confidential information. As the legal governing body of the parish, the vestry approves the parish budget and makes decisions on parish policy. They also act as leaders in support of hospitality, fellowship, spiritual growth, and discernment of God’s call for this community.
