Planned Giving
St. John’s 1841 Legacy Society
“The Minister of the Congregation is directed to instruct the people…to make wills, while they are in health, arranging for the disposal of their temporal goods, not neglecting, if they are able, to leave bequests for religious and charitable purposes.” BCP, p 445
The St. John’s 1841 Legacy Society is a group of current and former parishioners and friends who have remembered St. John’s Church in their will, trust agreement, life insurance, IRA or other related legal or financial instrument. Planned giving is an important element of the financial strength of St. John’s Church, enabling the church to develop, nurture and serve the local community and continue to provide important missionary work throughout the world.
