Give today so St. John’s will prosper tomorrow
“The Minister of the Congregation is directed to instruct the people…to make wills, while they are in health, arranging for the disposal of their temporal goods, not neglecting, if they are able, to leave bequests for religious and charitable purposes.” BCP, p 445
The St. John’s 1841 Legacy Society is a group of current and former parishioners and friends who have remembered St. John’s Church in their will, trust agreement, life insurance, IRA, or other legal or financial instrument. Planned giving is an important element of the financial strength of St. John’s Church, enabling the church’s ministries to thrive now and in the years to come.
Joining the Legacy Society is simple, as you need only inform the church office that you have included St. John’s in your estate planning. Click here to download our Legacy Society brochure, which includes more information about planned giving and a brief form to complete if you wish to join the society.
