The feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, known for his care for the natural world and animals, is on October 4. In his honor, we invite people to bring their pets for a short service of blessing and thanksgiving on the Sunday before his feast day, October 1, at 4:30 p.m. The service will be outdoors (weather permitting) and will end in time for our young people to attend youth group at 5 p.m. Parishioners, friends, and neighbors are all invited! Please bring your pet on a leash or in a crate/cage for everyone’s safety.
