St. John’s clergy and staff are busy fine tuning ways for us to continue to worship and pray together, despite the importance of physically separating ourselves from one another for a while.
We are currently offering the following worship and prayer opportunities online.
- Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m.
- Noonday prayer at 12 p.m. Monday through Friday,
- Compline at 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday
You can connect with these offerings via our web site, YouTube, Facebook and/or Zoom. If you’re not sure where to start, our web site is the best option. We will also send an e-blast within the hour before each of these services, with reminders for how to tune in along with copies of service bulletins, hymns and other supplemental materials.
The photo below is of parishioner Laura Roche, who was able to watch Sunday morning’s service on her TV, using the YouTube app on her Comcast/Xfinity cable service, and follow along with the bulletin on her tablet. There are lots of ways to take part in our online services!
If you are a technically savvy person, please let us know if you’re willing to provide technical help by phone to parishioners who need some help navigating our new online offerings.
We invite you to turn to St. John’s virtual offerings to find hope and comfort in these unsettling and difficult times. We will keep you informed of new opportunities for prayer, worship and connection in the days and weeks to come.
