The Rev. Patrick R. Perkins
The Rev. Patrick R. Perkins has served as Assistant to the Rector at St. John's Church since August 2009. Prior to joining St. John's Church, Patrick served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy for seven years, followed by thirteen years of experience in various positions of leadership in manufacturing and business operations. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, with a B.S. in Oceanography; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Rensselaer at Hartford), with a M.S. in Management; and the Virginia Theological Seminary, with a Master's degree in Divinity, cum laude. Patrick and his wife, Carol, have been married for more than 20 years and have two children, Ryan and Meagan, and a loveable (well, most days) chocolate lab.
