St. John's partnership with St. Sauver School
Global Missions provides support to St. Sauveur School which is maintained by St. Sauveur Episcopal Parish in Les Cayes, Haiti. Currently the school provides primary through sixth grade education to about 300 students.
The Diocese of Haiti recognizes that education leads on the path out of poverty to a successful Haiti. We coordinate with the local Priest/manager for school needs and conduct fund drives for support of those needs.
Periodically, we have made trips to Les Cayes to help and have other means of contact through a network of people and churches dedicated to helping St. Sauveur.
This is an extremely interesting and fulfilling project.
