House Committee

The members of the House Committee of St. John's Church pledge their time and talent to the stewardship of the House of God. The committee's purpose is the preservation, maintenance, and enhancement of the church buildings and property in order to preserve aesthetic values, comfort, safety, and utilities that support its spiritual mission. Members of the committee will plan, supervise and otherwise contribute to the completion of projects and actions including definition of activities, review of contracts and allocation of resources. The maintenance responsibility of the committee is coordinated with the Sexton.

The Committee welcomes input from all members of the parish.  Suggestions concerning the buildings and grounds may be given to any of the House Committee members or via a suggestion form available in church office.  We are actively seeking new members for the House Committee and invite anyone with an interest in the history, architecture, and stewardship of the church building and grounds to join us.  Please contact any member of the committee, or come sit in on a meeting to find out how you can contribute.
