Working Together

St. John’s offers many opportunities for connecting with others. The following committees provide ways to get involved:

Parish Life -- Organizes activities throughout the year for fun and fellowship
Community Service/Outreach -- Partners with community organizations to help some of the neediest populations in Greater Hartford

Global Missions -- Works with companion parish in Cuba and supports a parish school in Haiti
20's/30's Group -- Coordinates young adult programs
Men's Group -- Meets monthly to discuss various topics of interest
Communications -- Shares St. John's activites across digital and printed pieces
Pastoral Care -- Provides spiritual care through Stephen Ministers and Prayer Shawl knitters
Building & Grounds -- The House Committee manages the church buildings and grounds
